Illustrator Tutorial – Patterns and Shapes

This is the result of following the tutorial exactly
Heres the result of another quick tutorial, I’m trying to stick to video tutorials so I can watch everything step by step. This one is for making shapes using patterns. Cool looking results I think and its about a 7 minute long video. Try it out and come up with something cool I just did a quick easy robot face to start it off.

The potential is pretty cool, I’m gonna mess with using the pathfinder tool and see if that helps with the curves.

Grinding

In the fighting game world the concept of grinding is common, another way of saying spending time in training mode practicing. So I hit up a tutorial that I liked the look up for some photoshop grinding. Following a short tutorial to make a 3D glossy box which enforced some basic tool usage especially the transform tools. Here are a couple results, tell me what you think.
My first result, following the exact instructions
Techmode robot the mascot/logo that is still in development, I took out and added some steps mostly following the tutorial from memory.
